About Friends of the Littleton Library and Museum

The Friends of the Littleton Library and Museum is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit service organization providing financial and volunteer support for the Littleton Bemis Public Library and the Littleton Museum. Through events like the Fall Craft Fair, Used Book Sale and Holiday's Evening celebration as well as membership dues, the Friends raise funds to help sponsor and support events to increase awareness of the Library and Museum, to support numerous activities at the Library and Museum and to fund the purchase of equipment and resources.

Events and activities the Friends provide financial support for include:


  • Summer Concert Series, Museum
  • Travelling Exhibits at the Museum
  • Thursday Lecture Series, Museum
  • Children's Writing Contest, Library
  • Adult, Teen and Children's Programs, Library
  • Summer Reading Program, Library

By becoming a member of the Friends, you can help provide financial support to the Library and Museum. Becoming a member is easy and only costs $15 per year for a household. Read about all the benefits of becoming a member in the Membership Application Brochure. Once you're ready to become a member, simply fill out the application and return it to either the Library or Museum with your dues. We'd love to have you as a new Friend!
